Trayvon Martin Case

Hey hows does a man get away with murder to be or not to that is the question should a man go to prison A 16-year-old girl tells Benjamin Crump, the Martin family’s attorney, about the last moments of Trayvon Martin’s life. Martin was on the phone with her when George Zimmerman began following him. She recounted that she told Martin to run, then she heard some pushing, then the line went dead.
The U.S. Justice Department announces it has launched an investigation into Martin’s slaying.
ABC News also learns that Zimmerman violated major principles of the Neighborhood Watch manual, which states, “it should be emphasized to members that they do not possess police powers, and they shall not carry weapons or pursue vehicles.”
The State Attorney’s office in Seminole County, Fla., announces that a grand jury will review the evidence of the case on April 10. so yes he died and what does it mean we should all be fightiing over this!! would this "nice" boy want us to do this the man made a mistake an honest one we shouldn't condem him to death this is where social media is at its worst sensationalizing an event.
yeah so this is going to get uglier before it gets better it was a misunderstanding and it is sad for both families. this is sad

Summarizing Modern Genocides

Some parts of history are hard to look back upon but to grow as a country, as a society we must look back upon the bad times. We do this because if we get comfortable we let our guard down and we can never let our guard down when it comes to human suffering.
We say we have grown and learn from the mistakes of the Holocaust and the way it was handled. We obviously have not. From the slaughtering of innocent citizens in Sri Lanka, to Darfur, and Srebrenica. We as the US allow these mad men to get into power and then treat their citizens as livestock for slaughter! In Srebrenica like Sri Lanka a "safe zone" was established but it didn't stop the killing. If we have learned anything it is that if it doesn't affect our allies and our National Security its not a priority.
All human life is sacred and the fact that mad men are out there killing it doesn't make sense but I guess that is life? People die everyday, what does it matter if a couple thousand die every year in third world countries it doesn't effect our economy that much. We can't stop everyone that would be impossible but we should at least try to prevent mad men from getting into power.

Modern Genocides: Sri Lanka

Humans are capable of unending kindness and merciless cruelness. Humanity, it appears, has not learned the lessons that the Holocaust left, that there is no limit to human suffering.11 million people died in during the Holocaust and yet instead of ending the suffering, today there are still atrocities among the human race in our "modern genocides".

Since 1976 to 2009 the country/island of Sri Lanka, which is located of the coast of India, has been in a civil war. The two combatants have been a rebel extremist group called the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LITE) and the Sri Lanka Military. Tamil Tigers where formed to help bring creation of a separate Tamilstate in the north and east of Sri Lanka. They are the only terrorist group to assassinate Sri Lankan President Ranasinghe Premadasa in 1993 and former Indian Prime Minister Rajive Gandhi in 1991. What was originally a military operation to fight over territory and rights much like our own civil war turned into the biggest conspiracy and cover up in modern history.

In 2009 the Sri Lankan government set up a "no-fire zone" or "free-fire zone" where refugees of the war could "live in peace". What really happened was that the Sri Lakan Military and LITE used this as their shelling grounds to try and end the war. 150,000 of civilians were trapped when the government that was meant to save them killed them in order to destroy LITE. Worldwide outcry of disdain came out once the Sri Lankan government admitted to the shelling of the area on May 1st of 2009

So many innocent lives lost over a war that should have never happened in the first place. it is a shame to the human race to believe that we have "learned" and "moved on from the Holocaust" but we obviously haven't.
